  3. Which games can I play in Ringer?

Short answer. Ringer runs eight games today: Pot (Stroke), Stableford, Match Play, Nassau, Skins, 9-Point, Sixes (6-6-6) and Team Best-Ball. Add any of them when you create a round, or later from Manage while the round is live. Wolf, Banker, Hammer, Vegas, Scotch and Track Any Bet are coming soon.

Where you find them

  • New round. Create → pick your players and groups → "The game". The library reads "Choose a game — Pick one or more formats for this round." and is split into Popular ("The formats our members play most."), Group formats ("Built for specific group sizes.") and More formats ("Coming soon."). Pot (Stroke) appears in the library as "Stroke Play Pot".
  • Live round. Round Hub → Manage → Money games → "Add a game". When every game is already in play the list reads "Every certified live game is already in play."

You can stack more than one game on a round, but only one of each format.

Coming soon

Wolf, Banker, Hammer, Vegas, Scotch and Track Any Bet sit under More formats so you can see what is on the way, but none of them can be added yet. If one is chosen through an older link you will see "That money game is not certified for live play yet."

Side bets that ride alongside any game

Trash (greenies, sandies and the rest), Closest to the Pin, Long Drive and one-off head-to-head side bets are not games. They live under Round Hub → Manage → Side bets & contests and never change a game's result. See How each pot is split for how they settle.

Good to know

  • Pot (Stroke), Stableford and Team Best-Ball can span several rounds of a trip; Match Play, Nassau, Skins, 9-Point and Sixes are single-round games.
  • Nassau and Match Play cannot start from the middle of a nine in a shotgun start. Groups must begin at hole 1, or hole 10 on an 18-hole round.
  • There is no separate "gross pot" game. To play a gross stroke pot, add Pot (Stroke) and set scoring to Gross.
