Short answer. Open the round in your league and request a spot, or answer the commissioner's Round Call email or text. Your request stays "requested" until the commissioner confirms the field, then becomes confirmed, waitlisted or declined. You can withdraw until the cancellation deadline.

Steps

  1. Sign in and open Club → your league → Schedule, then the round.
  2. Request the round. You must already be on the league roster.
  3. Watch for the commissioner's confirmation message once the field is set. If you were waitlisted, you may be promoted automatically when a spot opens, depending on the round's settings.
  4. Can't play after all? Withdraw from the round before the cancellation deadline, or use the can't-make-it link in your confirmation message.

When a round takes requests

A round accepts requests only while signup is open (the commissioner sets the open and close times), before the field is confirmed, and before any score is saved. There is no automatic lock at a fixed time. The field locks only when the commissioner confirms it.

Order of the field

Your league picks how spots are handed out: first come, fair play, new player first, or the commissioner's choice. The commissioner can reorder with a stated reason. Capacity and minimum players are set per round.

Other ways in

  • Round Call. Before the field is set, the commissioner may email or text "In or out?". Answering records your request. See Reply to a Round Call.
  • Public round link. If you're not on the roster yet, a round signup link registers you and requests the spot in one step. You may be asked to choose your tees.

Good to know

  • The commissioner may get a "{name} is in" alert as players come in, depending on their notification settings.
  • Your league page shows progress such as "{n} of {min} players · Awaiting signups" and "{n} players · Ready for field review".
  • Withdrawing from a round leaves your league registration intact.

If it doesn't work

  • "Sign in to request this Round." Requests need an account and sign-in.
  • "Join the League before requesting a Round." Register through the league link first.
  • "Round signup is not open yet." / "Round signup has closed." Check the window with your commissioner.
  • "The cancellation deadline has passed. Contact the commissioner." Only the commissioner can release your spot now.
  • "You don't have an active request for this Round." There is nothing to withdraw.
  • "This round is no longer accepting requests. Ask the commissioner for the next signup link." The public link's round has closed.
  • "That round signup link is invalid." The link was replaced or mistyped; ask for a fresh one.
  • "Please choose your tees again." / "The course or tee options have changed. Please refresh this invitation." Reload the page and pick tees again.
  • "Couldn't request this Round." / "Couldn't withdraw from this Round." Temporary; try again.
