Short answer. A Round Call asks "In or out?" before the field is set. Tap I'm in or I'm out. The page that opens records your answer and shows the result. Once you've been confirmed, use the Confirm I can't make it link in your confirmation message to give up your spot.
Steps
Answer a Round Call
- Open the email or text from your commissioner and tap "I'm in" or "I'm out".
- Wait for the page to show that your answer was received. If asked to confirm, or if the connection fails, tap Confirm I'm in or Confirm I'm out.
- You'll see "You’re in." or "You’re out this round."
- Changed your mind? Reopen the link and answer again. You can change your answer until the commissioner sets the field.
Withdraw after you're confirmed
- Open your "You're in" message and follow the can't-make-it link.
- The page "Can't make it?" explains: "This releases your spot for this round. Your League registration stays active."
- Tap Confirm I can't make it. You'll see "You're marked out. The commissioner will see that the field and groups need review."
Good to know
- No sign-in is needed for either page. The link itself is your key, so don't forward it.
- Withdrawing from one round doesn't take you off the league or out of the season standings.
- Whether a Round Call arrives by email or text depends on how your commissioner set it up and on the text consent you gave at registration.
- Answering "I'm in" is a request, not a guaranteed spot. The commissioner still confirms the field.
If it doesn't work
- "Choose in or out." Pick an answer before retrying.
- "The field for this round is already set. Contact your commissioner if your plans changed." Too late to answer here; message the commissioner.
- "This round is not taking answers yet. Contact your commissioner." The call went out before the round opened.
- "Contact your commissioner to change this answer." Your answer can't be changed from the page any more.
- "This link is unavailable. Please contact your commissioner." The link expired or was replaced.
- "Couldn't record your answer. Please retry or contact the commissioner." / "Connection interrupted. Please retry." Check your signal and try again.
- "You're already marked out of this round." Your withdrawal is on file.
- "This spot is no longer confirmed. Contact the commissioner." You aren't in the confirmed field, so there is nothing to release.
- "Please contact the commissioner to withdraw from this round." Withdrawals from this page are closed; ask the commissioner.
- "Couldn't withdraw. Please retry or contact the commissioner." Temporary; try again.
