Short answer. The playing rhythm is the season's template: frequency, weekday, tee time, course, holes, money, team and skins settings, close-ups, capacity and minimum players. Each new week is created from it, complete with its games.

Steps

  1. Open Club → your league → Manage → Rhythm.
  2. Set the schedule: frequency (weekly, every two weeks, monthly or custom), day of the week, tee time in 24-hour HH:MM, course, and 9 or 18 holes. For nine, pick front or back.
  3. Set the money: buy-in, fourball entry, skins amount, close-ups value and close-ups entry per hole. Each is $0 to $1,000.
  4. Set the games (below), the results location (for example "Men's Grille", up to 80 characters), the default round capacity and the minimum players (each 1 to 1,000).
  5. Save. New weeks are created from these settings, and the schedule shows the next date the rhythm produces.

How it works

What each week gets

  • A Net Fourball game (two-player teams, best ball, one ball counting).
  • A Skins game.
  • Either a closest-to-pin contest on each close-up hole (field CTP mode), a group greenie (group greenie mode), or nothing when close-ups are off.

With the post-round draw on, Net Fourball partners are drawn when scoring is closed, so pairs are blind during play.

Who can do this

Commissioner or co-commissioner. Club owners and admins cannot edit the rhythm.

Good to know

  • Creating a week from the rhythm also sets that week's signup capacity and minimum from these values, with first-come allocation and automatic waitlist promotion. You can change any of those per week.
  • The rhythm can't create a week once the season is closed.

If it doesn't work

  • "Pick a day of the week.", "Tee time must be HH:MM (24-hour).", "Holes must be 9 or 18.", "Pick a valid date." Fix the schedule field.
  • "{label} must be zero or more." / "{label} can't exceed $1000." Money fields sit between $0 and $1,000.
  • "The team handicap allowance must be between 0 and 100%."
  • "Close-Up holes must be between 1 and {maxHole}." / "Choose at least one Close-Up hole." Close-up holes must exist on the nine or eighteen you play.
  • "That's too long — keep it short (e.g. "Men's Grille")." The results location is 80 characters at most.
  • "The default Round capacity must be between 1 and 1,000.", "Minimum players must be between 1 and 1,000.", "Minimum players cannot exceed maximum players."
  • "Couldn't save the cadence — please try again." Temporary; retry.
  • "Set the season's cadence first." A week can't be created until the rhythm is saved.
