  3. Run and close scoring in the Scoring Center

Short answer. The Scoring Center on each week shows scores arriving group by group. Each group's card is submitted by its scorekeeper and verified by a second person. When every card is complete or excluded, the commissioner closes scoring, which also draws Net Fourball partners if your rhythm draws them after play. Then award contests and finalize.

Steps

  1. Open Club → your league → Manage → the week → Scoring Center. Progress reads "Awaiting scores", then "{entered} of {expected} scores", then "Complete".
  2. Verify cards. The active scorekeeper submits the group's digital card once every player's score is in. A second person in the group, or league scoring staff, verifies it. Evidence photos can be attached. If nobody can verify, a commissioner can override with a reason of 4 to 500 characters.
  3. Close scoring. Clear every blocker listed, then close. With the post-round partner draw on, partners are drawn now using your odd-player policy.
  4. Award contests. Pick the closest-to-pin or greenie winner for each contest, or explicitly choose no winner.
  5. Finalize. Readiness checks scores, contests, money and snapshots. Once the result is final, a share link appears.

How it works

  • Result corrections. A finalized week can be reopened with a reason, which opens a new revision. The public result shows "Final · Revision {n}". Lifecycle changes and participation changes on a finalized week go through this flow.
  • Interruptions. Suspend, postpone, shorten or cancel a week from Round settings, with a reason of up to 240 characters. Postponing takes a makeup date; shortening records 1 to 17 holes played and whether the week counts, is void, or is undecided. Resolve any interruption before closing scoring.
  • Public result page. Shows honors, a gross and net leaderboard, and each game with "Payouts: …" or "No payout recorded". Money details, member contacts and tee times stay private. It exists only for final results.

Who can do this

Scoring Center, verification override and contest awards: commissioner or co-commissioner. Closing scoring and drawing partners: commissioner only.

If it doesn't work

  • "Only the commissioner can close scoring and draw partners." A co-commissioner can't close.
  • "Enter cards for the players who took part before closing scoring." / "Complete or exclude {n} card(s) below before closing scoring." Every participant needs a card, or must be excluded.
  • "Verify Group {n}'s card / {n} group cards below before closing scoring." Verification is outstanding.
  • "Resolve the round's interruption in Round settings before closing scoring."
  • "The saved handicap snapshot is incomplete. Review the round's tees and handicaps before closing scoring."
  • "A partner draw needs at least two players and one best-ball game." / "Set best ball to two-player teams with one ball counting before drawing." Fix the Net Fourball setup.
  • "Scoring is closed. Partners were not drawn: {err}" Scoring closed, but the draw failed for the reason shown. Fix it, then draw partners.
  • "Only the active scorekeeper can submit the digital group card." / "A second person must verify this card." / "Finish every player's score before submitting the group card."
  • "Only someone in this group or scoring staff can verify this card." / "Only league scoring staff can override a card." / "This card changed. Refresh before verifying it."
  • "Close scoring before awarding contests." / "Choose a winner or explicitly select No winner." / "Results are published. Open a result correction before changing an award."
  • "This Week is finalized. Reopen the result through the existing correction flow before changing its lifecycle."
