Invite your crew with one link

Every round has one invite link; share it, or send it by email or text from the Round Hub, and players RSVP in, maybe or out

  3. Invite your crew with one link

Short answer. Each round has a single invite link. Share it any way you like, or from the Round Hub use Invite by email or Invite by text. Anyone who opens it can answer I'm in / Maybe / I'm out without an account.

Steps

  1. Open the round's Round Hub. While the field is still being gathered, the invite tools sit at the top.
  2. Copy the invite link and drop it in your group chat, or tap Invite by email or Invite by text and enter the address or number.
  3. Watch the roster fill. Success reads "Invite sent ✓" or "Invite texted ✓".

How it works

  • The link points to https://www.ringer.golf/rsvp/[token]. The page shows the round name, who invited them, date and time, course, how many are already in, and the Who's in list.
  • Guests enter Your name, and optionally Mobile, Email, Index ("7.5 or +2") and GHIN #, then tap I'm in, Maybe or I'm out. A self-reported index shows on the roster as "· est." until an organizer confirms it.
  • Inviting by text adds that number to the roster as an "invited" placeholder, so you can see who hasn't answered yet.
  • When you create a round with guests already on the roster, Ringer emails each guest who has an email address, and texts each guest with a mobile number when texts are enabled for your deployment. Solo rounds send nothing.
  • Players you add yourself land as in and skip the RSVP entirely. See Add, remove and edit players and guests.

Who can do this

Invites are sent by the round's organizers. Anyone can forward the link once they have it.

Good to know

  • The invite link is for RSVPs. Scoring uses a separate scorekeeper link per group; see Scorekeeper link.
  • Texts are limited to 20 per hour per round, and invites sent on creation to 5 per hour per host.
  • Signed-in players get an email receipt when their RSVP changes.

If it doesn't work

  • "Too many texts sent from this outing recently — try again shortly." You've hit the hourly text limit. Share the link directly instead.
  • "Email logged (sending isn't on yet)." or "Text logged (SMS not on yet)." Delivery isn't switched on for this deployment. Copy the link and share it yourself.
  • "This invite link is no longer valid." The round was deleted or the link changed. Ask the Commissioner for a fresh one.
  • "Add your name so your group knows who's coming." Guests must enter a name before answering.
  • "Too many responses — give it a minute and try again." The RSVP page is rate-limited. Wait a minute and try again.
  • "You need an invite to RSVP to this outing." You're signed in but not on this round's roster. Open the invite link, or ask the organizer to add you.
