Short answer. Tap the pencil on the outing's hero to edit its basics. To remove the outing entirely, use Delete from the Round Hub or Manage; that is host-only and cannot be undone.
Steps
Edit the basics
- Open the outing and tap the pencil on the hero image.
- Change any of: Name, Date, Tee time, Course, Location, Notes.
- Save. Changing the date also moves Round 1 to the new date.
The name is required; leaving it blank shows "Give the outing a name."
Delete the outing
- Open the Round Hub or Manage and choose Delete.
- Read the warning: "Delete this outing? Its roster, groups, games, and scores will be permanently deleted. This cannot be undone."
- Confirm. The outing, its roster, groups, games and every score are gone for good.
Who can do this
- Editing basics: the Commissioner and co-organizers.
- Deleting: the primary host only. Co-organizers see "Only the host can delete this outing."
Good to know
- Round-level changes live elsewhere. Tees, holes, groups, tee times and games are managed from Manage and the Round controls, not the edit dialog. A finalized round has to be reopened before those can change.
- If you only need a fresh copy for next week, do not delete and rebuild. Once scoring is closed, the desktop dashboard offers Run it back ↻, which creates a new outing seven days later with the same name, kind, tee time, course, tee and holes, copies the games, and carries over the roster with the host "in" and everyone else "invited".
- Deleting a single round rather than the whole outing is done from the Round controls sheet (Delete round).
If it doesn't work
- "Give the outing a name." The name field is empty.
- "Only the host can delete this outing." Ask the primary host; co-organizers cannot delete.
- The pencil is missing: you are not a manager on this outing.
