Short answer. Improve, the tab titled "Your Game", reads your posted scores and shows your form, a trend, your best recent stretch, and a Ringer Record. A round counts once it is a complete card: a round declared 9 or 18 holes with exactly that many holes scored. Improve looks at your 20 most recent rounds.
How it works
From the top of the page down:
- My Bag. Your clubs and stock distances.
- Official Handicap and Current Form tiles. The first is the index on your profile ("Connect in Profile Settings" if you have none). The second is Ringer's own read of your recent 18-hole rounds, with a count of eligible rounds and a confidence label. See Current Form, explained.
- "Your next edge." One headline pattern from your recent rounds, with "See the pattern".
- Form Trend and Recent Ceiling tiles.
- Your game. Four cards, Driving, Approach, Short Game and Putting, each marked "Ready", "Building" or "Not tracked". These need hole-by-hole tracking beyond the gross score; posting scores alone never fills them.
- Latest round, with "Open debrief" for a plain-language read of that card.
- Recent performance chart of your last ten eligible rounds. Lower is better. Before then: "Your performance graph appears after two eligible rounds."
- Nine-hole game, shown once you have a complete nine. It is kept separate from the 18-hole form and never doubled.
- Eligible rounds, up to ten, each linking to its debrief.
- Tracking coverage. "Score history", "Quick Stats" and "Full Spatial" rows show how much detail each round carried.
- Ringer Record. Low Round, Rounds, Courses, and either Money Won or Events.
- What the numbers mean, and a link to the public definitions at ringer.golf/stats.
If you have no complete rounds and no handicap yet, the page shows one card instead: "Every round adds to the picture." with Play golf and View rounds.
Which rounds count
- Improve considers at most your 20 most recent rounds by date played.
- A round is a complete card when it was declared 9 or 18 holes and your card has exactly that many holes scored. Nine scores on a round declared as 18 is an unfinished 18, never treated as a nine.
- If you have more than one card in the same round, the one with the most holes scored is used.
- The round's status does not matter. A fully entered 18-hole card counts even if the round was never closed.
- Low Round needs a complete 18. Rounds counts complete 9s and 18s. Events counts the games you are on.
- Current Form has stricter rules on top of these: a rated tee, hole pars for the course, and the handicap allocation from the round.
- Quick Stats and Full Spatial appear only for rounds that carried that tracking. Missing tracking is never shown as a zero.
Good to know
- Improve is private by default. Club administrators and league commissioners do not see your Improve analysis through their role.
- Improve is a derived view. Nothing here changes your scores, game results, money or handicap.
- If the page fails with "Your scores are safe." and "The performance view could not be built.", tap Try again or Open Rounds. Your rounds are untouched.
- Ringer is not an official handicap authority. Current Form never sets your strokes.
